After installation you can open doubletwist from startup - all programs(windows). The program just ask you to signup with your mail id and password for your doubletwist account. This mail id and password will be your login id and password for doubletwist.
Then activation link will be sent to your email id and just click on that to activate your account.
This is the user interface of doubletwist. As you can see, you can transfer media files to any of your devices or send the video or mp3 files to your friends using gmail or yahoo mail account. Convert you tube videos and synchronize with your media device.
You can also publish videos and photos to Youtube and flickr respectively. The only drawback is everytime you need to sign in to doubletwist account to transfer media files
